Thank you for taking a moment to dock with us here at our virtual harbor - created and maintained by the Community at Volunteer Landing Marina in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Nestled among the giant bluffs of Knoxville’s downtown waterfront, our community includes the families of about 100 boat owners who rent (or own) slips at the marina. It also includes a growing number of downtown Knoxville merchants and friends who proudly participate as Good Neighbors of our community.   Learn more about becoming a member of our community . . .    

Since 1998, our marina has been the premiere boating location in East Tennessee, offering year round accessibility and a virtual buffet of urban amenities unrivaled by other local and regional waterside facilities.

We enjoy front row seating for all of the activities that take place on our vibrant waterway that is connected to the Tennessee River, Fort Loudoun Lake, Lake Tellico & Watts Bar Lake. On land, we are also within walking distance of an enormous number of dining, entertainment, shopping and athletic venues located in our Historic Downtown, the Market Square District, The Old City and on the campus of The University of Tennessee.

Becoming a Registered User at our site offers several membership benefits and membership is free!

FULL MEMBER BENEFITS . . . Slip renters, slip owners, and merchants who participate in our Good Neighbor Program can become Registered Users with Full Member Benefits. Full Members can view all of the content at the site, (including updated information about our waterfront and life at the marina; options for dining, entertainment & shopping in the downtown; and convenient links to downtown event calendars). They may also add content to the site, (including personal stories about life in the downtown; photos; favorite recipes; and article reviews).

ASSOCIATE MEMBER BENEFITS . . . Persons who may not qualify as a Full Member, may still become an Associate Member and membership is still free! Associate Member Benefits are the same with the exception of the Membership Card and it's associated privileges.
